Robert Lanphear (1938-2020), son of George and Frances Lanphear, brother of Sandra Meylor, uncle to Lisa Meylor, Heather Diblbee, and Sarah Perry, friend to many, went to his reward on January 29, 2020. He will be remembered as a scholar, teacher, graduate of UC Santa Barbara (B.A and M.A), social activist in the LGBT movement, and his compassion. A service will be held at the Oakdale Memorial Chapel, 1401 South Grand Ave, Glendora, CA 917401 on February 17th, 2020. Viewing from 11-11:30 in the chapel followed by the service.
