I was a good friend of robert & his brother,steve. Late 1950s . I spent a lot 
Time  in there house, playing the guitar with both of them. Going to beach in the summer.  We went to Mexico  once. 
 Steve did the driving.  Was going  a little
To fast. His dad said slow down.  Robert 
Had a bueteful  smile, very kind 
Personality,  great to be with.  I will always remember him as a dear friend.

Bob and I worked together for many years at the Treasury Department promoting the sale and retention of savings bonds.  Bob was an excellent employee and colleague, and a caring and effective leader.  More importantly he was a wonderful person, a delight to be with and to work with, at all times. I remember well his love for and his pride in his family. My deepest sympathy to Bob's family and many friends.  He will be greatly missed, but his memory lives on in all of us who knew and admired him.
