We visited with Michael a few afternoons a week for a couple of years.  We loved him very much and looked forward to seeing him on our walks so that we might discuss the neighborhood’s owls, coyotes and—our favorite—bunnies.  After M broke her ankle last fall, we weren’t able to go out for a long time.  When the cast came off, we hit the trail; but we never saw Michael again.  We really miss you, man.  Thanks for always being there for us.  -M and B

See you on the other side, your trademark. your laughter branded in our minds. Mom & Dads special child. just a little different from us but always special.  anytime i needed you to help me with a project you where there. I wish I was there for you. times I didn't understand what you were going through I should have taken the time to understand. our last conversation we ended as always saying I love you., you would replay See You on the Other Side. as if you knew you would leave us 1st. how could you leave without saying good-by. only you knew why, could it be that God needed another angle and you were ready. Couldn't you have waited just one more phone call or one more gathering. your stubbornness was challenging and exhausting. you always had a way of turning things around and making a joke out of it. as a child wanting a cooky and going through the window to get it, we had made a song Michael went through the window... you were funny, crazy, emotional, caring, private, smart and helpful. at times in the fast lane. But always special. God has taken from us a beautiful person and given him wings so that he can fly to be on the other side, I hope you know a piece of my heart is with you hold it near Michael for someday we will meet on the other side.  Love & miss you dearly.

Michael has been a good friend at the service center where we used to volunteer.We will miss him .
