Mary Margaret Dowling

Mary Margaret Dowling of Glendora CA., Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother passed into the presence of our Lord on May 4th, 2020. Mary, daughter of Teresa and Nicholas Terry of Canton, Ohio, was born on February 28, 1935. Mary is survived by her husband of 63 years, Patrick Dowling. They had three children, Terry Dowling (Lisa), Sheila Dowling Sydes (Jonathan) and Kevin Dowling. Eight Grandchildren (Matthew, Michele, Alisha, Kristen, Breanna, Shannon, Gannon and Connor) Four great Grandchildren (Aliyah, Alexis, Landon, and Emerald) and one on the way. She is preceded in death by her son Kevin Dowling.

She was a true woman of Faith; kind and compassionate. Mary spent many mornings at early mass praying for her family and friends. She was a selfless and humble person who continually put others first. Always loving towards all who crossed her path, this was an example to family, close relatives and friends from her childhood, high school classmates, to their neighbors in Maple Heights OH, Moreland Hills OH and in Glendora CA., her home of 41 years.

Surely, she will be missed but not forgotten. The faithful look forward to seeing her again in the presence of our Lord.

There will be a graveside service at 3PM on May 12, 2020 at Oakdale Cemetery in Glendora Ca for immediate family only, due to the Covid restrictions. Donations may be made in Mary’s name to David & Margaret Home in LaVerne CA., www.davidandmargaret.org
