 I was deeply saddened to hear of your insurmountable loss of your precious Josh.  I had the great pleasure of having Josh in Mrs. Cochran's class where I was her para-educator.  Both Mrs. Cochran and I knew Josh was a very special and remarkable young man from the moment we met him.  He was always so positive, and flashed his million dollar smile regardless of how he felt, or if he was having a difficult day.  
My heart goes out to your entire family,  I personally learned so much from Josh and I know I am a better person and better educator for having known him.  The world has lost a treasure., I am so truly sorry for your loss.

Josh has been a precious part of my life since he was six years old and my boys would beg to stay at his house. I first fell in love with Josh's smile, his love for life, and the way he welcomed new friends and was loyal to them. Because of Josh, I gained a best friend in Wendy and more people to call family as her family welcomed my family into hers. Josh will continue to be a special part of my life as he lives on in my memories and heart. I look forward to seeing him again in heaven and celebrating with him. I love you, Josh.

May God give you strength in the days ahead and may you be comforted knowing that Josh knew he was surrounded by an enormous amount of love and caring. God bless you and your family for taking such good care of him. You will all be in my daily prayers. I am truly sorry for your loss.

Joshua was a "gift" to your family! That child ALWAYS had a smile on that precious face! How blessed you were that the Lord sent that angel to you. Now he's up there singing with the angels...and probably teaching them a few things...LOL

I have some wonderful memories being with him, playing basketball and talking with him about his Lakers and Angels. He was such an inspiration for all of us; we all mourn Josh's passing, he will truly be missed. I often was saddened there was such a distance of travel between us. When I would talk with Kevin, one of the first things I would always ask was how is Josh doing? Please know in your hearts my Love, Thoughts and Prayers are truly with everyone.

I want to express my deepest condolences for the loss of Josh. He was a shining star in a murky world. His infectious positivity and warm heart will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure to meet him.

Some angels come into our lives and only stay a short time but touch our hearts and lives in a way that will stay with us always.

I am so sorry, I'm lost for words. I will always have sweet Josh in my heart. Josh was truly an angel and his soul will shine so bright in the sky.

Wendy, I am honored that I got to meet Josh and spend fun time with him! I have some of the best memories and can laugh when I think of them...He's singing with the angels now.

I will always treasure my time spent with Joshua. It was an honor and a pleasure to know him. You are in my thoughts at this time of your loss and my prayers go out to you and your family. Just remember that even in the hardest of times light and love will shine down upon you.

Yesterday the world got a little darker. My dear friend Wendy lost her ray of sunshine. Josh was the sweetest, funniest, happiest little guy...but his life was full of struggles. He had muscular dystrophy and was confined to a chair, but that didn't stop him from enjoying life! This past January he celebrated his 21st and we celebrated with him at Toby Keith's Bar...we had a blast! Josh got to have alcohol (which he loved, BTW lol) and he was on the dance floor most of the night! We went to some country concerts....he was a GREAT kid! He had a special place in his heart for Anna and he was so excited for the wedding! Anna had a special dance saved for Josh! We're going to miss you Joshua and the Lakers are going to miss you in their corner...RIP sweetie.

I'm beyond grateful for the time I had with Josh. He was a light and was always there when I was struggling. He helped me out so much without even knowing it.

Austin and I love you and your family and have always been close regardless of how busy we are through our kids. Sending prayers and hugs to you all! One of my favorite memories was Joshua's annual birthday game night! Loved the dice game.
