In 1954 Jack enlisted in the Army and was stationed in the State of Washington. He became a Corporal and went on to stay in the Army reserves until 1962.
In 1956 he returned to Minnesota to marry JoAnne Tradup. They moved to California on their honeymoon and he gave up farming to start a new life as a machinist. In 1974 he started his own company Arrow Engineering. He worked there for 33 years before retiring in 2007.
Jack loved to travel in their motorhome. He and JoAnne traveled extensively across the country and traveled abroad to other countries as well. Jack loved to go to the Colorado River, the desert, and his true passion was hunting with his friends and family.
Jack was married to JoAnne for 62 years until her passing in 2018. He was also preceded in death by his son Johnny Beaman, brothers Donald and William Beaman and his parents. He is survived by his daughter Julie Teeter, his four grandchildren Linsey Bachar, Lauren TeVelde, John Beaman, Jake Beaman ,6 Great Grandchildren, his brother Edward Beaman and his sister Sharon Kopchak.
