Israel Palacios 1945- 02/14/2023

Israel Palacios was born back in 1945 in his beloved country of Guatemala in a small town located in Huehuetenango. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Israel enjoyed spending time with his family and watching his favorite sport, soccer, and his favorite team, FC Barcelona.

Israel passed away in West Covina, California on February 14, 2023, after a lengthy battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife Maria, his children, Alvaro, Rosa Carola, Nancy, Jairo, and Alyssa; Grandchildren Sebastian, Joaquin, and Rafael; Brother Julio and Sister Consuelo; along with many more loved ones.

Israel worked in the apparel industry making sport leather jackets until his retirement. After he retired, he became a foster parent, helping a lot of kids feel safe and at home until their reunion with their biological parents. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and many of the people he helped along the way.
