Esperanza moved to California in 1973; were she married George Quiroga and had two daughters, Diana Baylor and Monica Quiroga.
She was a devoted mother who helped to create a warm, welcoming, and united family unit amongst all immediate and extended relatives.
She began her professional career at West Covina Hospital, were she worked many years in Human Resource. In 1989, she decided on a career change were she found her calling as a real estate professional. She found so much happiness and genuine satisfaction in helping people. An indisputable care-taker, she loved helping clients, co-workers and peers in the industry. Her unbridled passion in life was to bring joy and comfort to those she encountered, not only personally but professionally.
Esperanza lived for her family and friends. She worked hard to ensure those she loved were never at want for anything. And if they were, she was always the first there. Her compassionate, fun loving and dedicated spirit made any arduous task appear naturally effortless. Through her everyday splendor, she inspired hope, grace and confidence in those she touched.
Esperanza is survived by her husband, George; daughters Diana (Baylor) and of San Dimas, CA, and Monica Quiroga (Ross) of Glendora, CA; and sons-in-law Bryan Baylor and Matthew Ross, respectively; sisters Elizabeth (Garcia) and Olga (Anderson) of La Verne, CA; grandchild Brooklin Baylor of San Dimas, CA; and several nieces and nephews; and a multitude of friends. Her beautiful memory will sing in their hearts and dance through their actions as they live on.
A celebration of life will be held on July 3, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Louise de Marillac Church (1728 E. Covina Blvd. Covina, CA 91724). Her final resting place will be at Oakdale Memorial Park (1401 S. Grand Ave. Glendora, CA 91740).
