I'm so sorry to ready about Ed's passing.  We were cousins and we just got back in touch about 10 years ago.  We were in contact by writing letters back and forth and felt I got to know him through those.  I was glad to have found him and was able to get to know him. I will miss these letters from him.  My thoughts are with Yvonne and the rest of the family.

Eddie lived across the street in Baldwin Park he . We moved away in 1961. He was my best friend . He was older than i was . He was a great person . I had a lot of fun with him.  He was at my house a lot and we played in my back yard after school and in the long days of Summer past .

I knew Ed since childhood. We played basketball in his backyard, ate his dad’s broasted chicken and fished together.  He was a standup guy who would help a friend out at a moment’s notice.  In fact we called him the bank of Saxton.  He allowed me into his life and shared many a private moment.  He loved Yvonne “Momma” with a passion.  I will miss my friend. One of a kind.

I remember when Me, Eddie &  David Litchfield, we had to be @ 8-10 yrs. old . Would go to the field by Rivergrade Road with our BB guns. We would hunt for rabbits & play army. What fun times we had.
