Angelina "Eva" Jaramillo Lomas

Angelina "Eva" was born in Aguascalientes, Mexico on June 4, 1936. She moved to Cd. Juarez, Mexico, after completing her nursing degree, and began working as a supervising head nurse at a large hospital. There she met the love of her life, Jose Ma. "Chema" Lomas. After a few years, they moved to Texas where she had the first of her three children. In 1965, she and Jose moved to California, where they continued their family and raised three children. After Jose passed away in 1999, she became the head of the household and worked many years to provide for her family. Angelina was a strong, determined and a resilient woman. She always put her family's needs before hers. She loved her grandchildren and never hesitated to babysit. She also enjoyed "playing" and spending time with her great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Jose Ma. Lomas and her granddaughter Brandie Lomas. She is survived by her three children, Francisco, Jose, and Patricia, her six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed but knowing that she is in God's kingdom is a great comfort.

A rosary service for Angelina will be held Thursday, July 20, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Sunset Chapel, 1401 S Grand Ave, Glendora, CA 91740, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
