Tony, you were a good dude that always reached out to his old friends to see how everything was going. I'm so sorry that this happened to you because you deserved so much better. I'll never listen to The Ramones again without thinking about you, rock your way into Valhalla with a loud Gabba Gabba Hey !!!!!

It’s unimaginable that I won’t be hearing from you anymore to say hello, let me know what shows are playing, and to hang out. You were the ultimate spark that ignited a passion for Punk music that no one could match. You’re the reason for my love of punk music, and no one knew more than you. Yet, I take comfort in knowing that your extraordinary spirit will continue to inspire us to be better versions of ourselves. You will be forever celebrated and remembered. Forever in our hearts. I remember first meeting you over 40 years ago at the “Woody table” at 210. We became fast friends then, and that bond stayed strong through all the years. Your heart was kind and generous—you never gave up on your friends. You made sure we always knew when someone was struggling, giving us all the chance to show up and do right by one another.

Everyone knew how much you loved rock 'n' roll. Your passion for the music and the bands inspired so many. You also appreciated the simple joy of breaking bread with people you cared about. You were always up for dinner at Thai Rock or brunch at a new spot. You loved being near the shore, trains, and of course—pizza.

You're gone too soon, Tony, and you’ll be deeply missed by so many. Until we meet again, rest in peace. 🙏

There’s definitely a chip in my heart since I found out you passed. I still remember the first day I saw you and Kenny walking through Forest Park, holding fresh new albums, your MC jacket on, long hair flowing, and that look like you were on a mission to play those tunes the first chance you got.

My palette for music is diverse and delicious because of you. You were my bestie for many years—through good choices and bad ones, we hung tight. My mother adored you. You were always welcome at every holiday, for any meal, anytime.

“Ma, Tony’s here.”
“No problem.”

The countless concerts, walks to the park, parties, and random adventures... you were talented in so many ways. Even though we weren’t blood, this loss hits like family—or maybe even worse—because you were chosen family.
