Manny, Rest in Peace. It was a pleasure to know you.

Manny was always a pleasure to work with, generous with his deep knowlegde, 
sharing a gentle sense of humor. He was always welcoming, taking his work, coworkers, and customers seriously. 

My dear Maria, Cristina and Dany,
I am so sorry you lost Manuel. I know your pain is too great. I know that words offer little comfort at this time, but I want you to know that we share your pain! We love Manuel very much and will miss him, but we are grateful to God for his life.  He was one of the best one. I know he is going to watch over you and his entire family because he loves his family fiercely, now from heaven. Know that you have a family that loves you and is here for you. Your Tia Quenia.

I worked with Manny for a few years between 2014 until he went out on medical leave in 2019.   Every month there is a situation that comes up that reminds me of him and has me thinking what he would say and want to do about it.  He was so knowledgeable and approachable.  When I asked him questions I would get straight answers and confidence.  I miss our times together in the office sharing ideas, venting about recent frustrations, and encouraging each other to do the right thing.  He wasn't my supervisor, but he still was a leader to me.   I am sad that he isn't able to enjoy more of his retirement years.  I hope he was at peace and pain-free at the end.

Mi querido amigo y  hermano Manuel siempre te recordaré en nuestro caminar desde cuando éramos bien joven en Bonao, aquellos momentos inolvidables cuando creíamos que el tiempo era nuestro y que nunca se acabaría, pero que hoy descubrimos que somos peregrinos de este mundo y que andamos de pasos. Tú siempre  te mantuviste firme en la fé, dando siempre lo mejor de ti a los demás. Gracias por todo, que Dios te abras las puertas del cielo, para con su santos alabes a Dios. My condolences for your lost. Although I’m retired now, I can’t forget how kind and gentle Manny was during my working years at Con-Edison. 

My deepest condolences to the family.  I know Manny since working at Conedion Engineering Service Assessment Team.  He always was very a pleasant and respectful professional.  May he rest in peace.


To Aunt Mary and cousins Danny & Cristina,

I wanted to offer my deepest condolences & prayers to all of you. Manuel was such a humble, warm-hearted and hard-working man and it hurts deeply to know that we lost a gentle soul. He was one of a kind & it was always a pleasure to be in his company. There are no words to describe the sadness that I feel while writing this. He will be greatly missed.

I worked with Manny in Distribution Engineering for a few years.  He was someone good to work with, always pleasant in good humor.  One of those I missed after retirement.

Manny, we will all miss your experience you shared, the people you connected us to, and the technical and customer “Energy Services” knowledge you always shared. Few others offered their help without flipping through procedures or the Blue Book like Manny.  We all wish we can be like you and continue to uphold that Con Edison sense and standard. Best wishes to friends and family!
