John J. Tighe, of Glendale: passed away on January 7th 2018 at 98 years of age. Born and raised in Queens, John served in Europe with the U.S. Army during WWII. Beloved husband of the late Catherine (2013) and loving father of the late Timothy, Donald, Margaret, Geraldine and Regina. Dearest brother of Mary and Elizabeth and devoted grandfather of 10 and great-grandfather of 11. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Wed. (Jan. 10th) 9:30am at Saint Pancras R.C. Church. Interment will take place at Calverton National Cemetery, L.I.
