James J. Fitzmaurice, of Brooklyn; passed away on January 23rd 2013, at 64 years of age. Born in Brooklyn, Mr. Fitzmaurice was a retired Detective with the NYPD. He is survived by his beloved wife, Sharon (nee Steimle) and his loving children; James, Carolyn, Michelle, Mary & Michael. Mr. Fitzmaurice will also be forever remembered by his 3 grandchildren. A Mass of Christian burial will take place Saturday (Jan. 26th) at 10am, at Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church. Interment to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park, in Farmingdale, L.I.
