Ron Litchfield taught me so many life lessons that many of these I apply on a regular basis.  He was so damn smart and logical that when he came up with a solution it was so perfect that I would look at it and be struck speechless.  

When he decided to teach you something, he was very succinct - so much so that the lesson just stuck.  With little to no effort suddenly you learned something that you could use for the rest of time.  

I treasure the jewels that he taught me. 

    Ron and I had some interesting history professionally and as friends.  I can say that Ron TOTALLY loved his family. His marriage to Elsa "was the best thing that ever happened for him."  
    When I spoke to Ron in recent years he was the happiest we had ever seen him, doing the things he wanted to do and basically living how he and Elsa wanted to live.  What more could one ask for?  He literally painting a picture of himself and a close friend fishing on a regular basis on a beautiful estate.  Sounded like he did not have a care in the world of no stress, no deadlines, and he was completely content.  
    If I could complete my chapter of life just the way Ron did, I would have nothing to add.  Incredible, not many people are able to pull that off.  
     Many condolences to Elsa and family. It is inconceivable to imagine what a loss this is for you and your family.  Best wishes to all of you.  Ron will be greatly missed...

Ron was a very good friend.  H e and I would get into long conversations about all kinds of things, and neither one of us would lose interest, even if hours would roll on.  Usually, one of us would realize that we were late for something else, and only then end our conversation.   

I'll catch up with you later Ron!  Love you brother.
