Juanita is survived by her children Ponchito Barragan , Alejandra Mejia (William Mejia), Mariela Bernardo (Tavo Bernardo); and siblings Javier Torres, Luz Elena Torres and Alejandra Torres; her grandchildren Lalo Barragan, Alexi Mejia, Sara Mejia, Tati Mejia, Gio Barragan, Mosha Mejia and her great grandson Mateo Barragan.
A celebration of life for Juanita will be held Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a rosary beginning at 4:30 pm at Glendale Funeral Home, 511 South Central Avenue, Glendale, CA 91204. A religious mass will occur Friday, May 20, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Holy Rosary Church, 7800 Vineland Ave., Sun Valley, CA. 91352
