Born in El Salvador May 19, 1954 to the parent’s of Carmen Chavez Aquino and Adan Aquino. Sibling to Antonio and Roberto Aquino. Wife to Jose Felix Jimenez Montiel. Mother of 8 children Melvin Santiago, Jhonny Paul, Wendy Karina, Myrna Elliot, Jose Adan, Silvya Irene, Laura and Frankie Omar. She is also grandmother to 15 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Seeing her children and family happy brought her great joy.
Her profession was a seamstress, but as a child dreamed of being a cosmetologist.
She loved being outdoors with nature, gardening and singing as well as dancing. She carried her precious homeland El Salvador in her heart and mind always. Her favorite food was the traditional El Salvadorean platanos fritos and casamiento. Her favorite color was pink and her favorite movie was Ghost. She had a chef’s touch in the kitchen.
She was a devoted Christian since 1999 and attended Fuente de Agua Viva in Palmdale in which she was President of the women’s committee. And was loved and admired by many for her willingness to help, her kind spirit and loving way of being. She was a loyal servant of God and all that she did was in his name. She was and is a constant reminder of the kindness and love that this world needs. She will be missed by many and we have peace knowing that she is with our lord and savior. Amen.
