Age 72, of Glendale, passed away on January 11, 2012. Bill was born on December 5, 1939 in Winkelman, AZ, son of the late Raymer and Nola Whitney. He served his country for over 20 years in the U.S. Air Force, retiring in 1980. Bill is survived by his beloved wife of over 50 years, Barbara; sons, Michael (Becky) and Robert Whitney; daughter, Paula (Dan) Hudalla; 4 grandchildren; brother, Donald Ray; sister, Lorena K. Hensley; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Moran. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, January 16 at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, 7924 N. 59th Ave., Glendale. Inurnment will be held at National Memorial Cemetery of AZ, Phoenix.
