I will truly miss you my friend!  Our many evenings talking and laughing together meant so much to me. You will forever be in my heart. Until we meet again Wild Bill, or as I would fondly say, “Slash Dagger, man of mystery!”

My fondest memory of Wild Bill was his kind heart. Always  smiling and enjoying all his friends. He loved his Budweiser at the moose with his friends.  I called him Pop's.  He always liked that. I would sing karoke to him. His favorites from my list of songs were Grandpa by the Judd's  and Could I have this Dance by Anne Murray.  I will miss him very much. Wild Bill was a kind and gentle soul.  RIP  Pop's till we meet again.
 

We already miss you, Wild Bill!  It was always a pleasure to see you and Sandra at the Moose!  Even though our conversations were short, you said a lot with your expressions.  I was so happy to introduce you to my husband, Bruce.  Bruce,  discovered your many common interests and enjoyed spending time hashing the world problems out while having a cold beer.  Bruce was particularly amused by the songs, which would suddenly play on the juke box, when you weren’t there, such as “Tip Toe Through the Tulips”.  We would laugh and say “Wild Bill” must be at home playing songs again.  We loved the diversity of music he played.   We will keep playing your songs and have a cold beer in your honor. My grandfather was one of the most important men in my life.   He was always there when I needed him. He truly is my hero.  I will cherish every single memory forever. I will always love you, Grandpa. ❤️❤️

I first met Bill when I was 15 years old and dating his Granddaughter.  He always treated me with respect and we enjoyed many conversations about fishing, cars, military aircraft and his time in the military.  Twenty-eight years later, I am now saying goodbye to one of the most respected people in my life. Goodbye, Bill!  You were a fantastic. loving person and I will always honor you as one of my true American heros! 

Wild Bill was always kind honest sincere to be around loved to tell stories and jokes he loved to play music on the juke box you will always have a special place in our hearts we love and miss you our friend.  Marlene, Brian and Ray


Wild Bill was a friend to all, a loving, generous and caring soul. He was my long time, dear friend and will be greatly missed.

I remember when he used to come to the Elks . such a sweet person . God has another angel home.

What I wouldn't give to talk to you one more time.  You were always so sweet and had kind words.  I will miss our greetings at the lodge and talking with you.  Rest in Peace Wild Bill.

I always smiled when you walked in. I remember our talks and your quiet joking and your salutations of praying hands and a nod of your head,  I remeber meeting Sandra and the fun we had.  I will never forget you "Wild Bill"  love ya, rest in peace.  Terri♥️

I have known Bill since I was a young child.  I always saw him as a very handsome man who was always very kind to me.  Through the years we all went our separate way.  A few years ago I was priveleged to be in Phoenix and had lunch with Bill.  What a special event that was for me.  He was as I remembered him -- handsome, kind and a great sense of humor in tact.  He was so positive, affirming and I will always remember his sincerity and sweet smile.  What a privelege it was to have known him.  Go with God, Bill....
