William "Bill" Thatcher Katzenberger

William "Bill" Thatcher Katzenberger, age 88, passed away on October 29, 2023 in Phoenix, Arizona. Bill was born on September 23,1935 in Buffalo, New York to parents William George and Metta. He was the oldest to brother John and sister Sue.

Bill went to Moody Bible Institute in Illinois where he met his first wife, Joan. They had two children, William Frederick "Fred" and Debra "Debbie". He married his second wife, Betty in 1970 where they spent over 50 years in Glendale, Arizona.

Bill loved the Lord and to sing praises to Him. He was a career autobody man and loved old cars; the Packard being his favorite. He enjoyed model railroading and every Christmas he would create a railroad village.

Bill is survived by his brother John, sister Sue and daughter Debbie.

He is preceded in death by his wife Betty and son Fred.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 W Northern Avenue Glendale, Arizona 85301.
