Trang, today has marked a year we bid good bye!  Your smile from above will lessen our loss and grieves.  Keep smiling my dear...

Trang, we visited the boys on your 100th day memorial. We were very happy to see them and had a good time with them. It was a reward seeing the smiles on their faces when they got all the attentions from the adults. We took a lot of pictures with them. On my first night this trip, Daniel asked his dad where mommy is and how come she is not coming home and he said he missed mommy.  Trang, my heart hurt and I have to hold off the tears hearing Daniel's little voice. 

The boys are grown up, you must be looking over them, Daniel and Derek didn't cried at all when I cut their hair. They let me took as long as I need to give them a perfect haircut; the whole time I just need to constantly talking into their ears about how good they are, it worked and I loved it. Also, baby Ethan followed his brothers' footsteps; he cried but he came (on his own will) to me and sat on the little chair for the haircut. He cried the whole time but sitting still allowing me to all the time I need to cut his hair. His action was so cute and I will never forget it. I will have this beautiful haircut story to tell them later when they grownup. 

The night before we left, I didn't let them play with the iPads after dinner even when they asked. Guess what, they didn't throw tantrum for not having the iPads, they came to sit with us in the dining room and they colored the angry birds. Derek and Daniel shared the same book, each colored a page. It was a perfect picture for everyone's memory, the kids and adults sitting at the same table and everyone laughing with them. 

It was so hard to say goodbye to them. The night before we left, we waited until the boys ready for bed because Derek told everyone “stay home” – he meant “don't go” - when he saw Linh and Quynh-Anh took their belonging and walked to the door. We understood that he wanted company and attentions. It was heartbroken when I heard that.

Rest assured, we love your boys a lot and wish for them to grow up healthy and as strong as their mom! Be sure you follow them and look after them, too.

Trang, it is so sad that you have to leave three little boys behind. However, I am happy that you are in a better place. Remember to follow your kids in every steps of their life and pray for them. They need you to watch over them.

Wished you were here today so I could see your beautiful smile.  

I had felt you were here all along nevertheless.  The same week we came back after you were laid to rest, there was a butterfly pupa made its home on our back door edge. Everyone else seemed to think it was a cicada pupa since its home was built right in the open and heavy traffic area. Very unlikely for a butterfly pupa! I always felt it was a butterfly pupa. 

We had watched it every day for 2 long weeks, praying it would hatch when we all were home. We were carefully handling the door afraid it would disturb the pupa await. We had shielded it from the rain and some strong wind nights. Then came one early Sunday morning, it was hatched. It was amazing to see it just came out of its pupa, wings still wet and fluttered. A beautiful butterfly.  A 'Papilio Multicaudata' species ,Chloe and Emma said.  Moment later, it spread its wings to kiss the sky. In a rush of wings, its spirit's released and free. Chloe and Emma cried 'AZ that way mama'. Yes, dear, it's too the way to the heaven gate. 

A week later, while watching your picture gallery from West Resthaven, I had realized the butterfly hatched on our door was just almost the same butterfly in the beginning of the video gallery! I knew, it was you! I just now discovered another name for 'Papilio Multicaudata' is 'Two-tailed Swallowtail'; and this is also the official name of AZ state butterfly! 

Rest in peace my dear.

Have a good time in heaven and be with the Lord, chi Trang! I have heard a lot of good thing about you, so thanks for being a good example of a wonderful human being whom we look up to everyday!

Rest in Peace, chi Trang!  You're in a better place now, please watch over for your husband and your three sons!  We're praying and thinking of you, pretty lady!

Trang, I remembered the very first time I saw you at (GCC) Glendale Community College.  Your father was holding your hand and My's hand (your younger sister My) he walked you both to your classrooms.  I admired you two... at the time, thinking to myself that your dad cares enough about you to escort you to the classroom at the Community College.  Then we ended up in the same classroom one semester in Accounting.  I realized then you were one of the smartest people I've ever known in my life.  Then you graduated in Accounting got your CPA, then went back to school to University Of Minnesota College Of Pharmacy and graduated in 2006.  You've accomplished quite an achievement in your education, you've worked hard your entire life to get to the point where you wanted in life.  

From friends at GCC, I've learned this very sad news that you have been battling cancer and passed away on 8/7/14.  I was shocked, speechless when I heard the news.  You're so young... to die.  Life is not fair, and it's way too short so treasure every minute of it.  Cherish and love everyone in your life, you never know when it's time to go... I'm praying for everyone, your family, your friends who suffered your loss.  Trang, I'm sure you will be missed.

Dear Bac Trang,
    We pray hard for you everyday for your recovery but God has had different plans for you. You did a great job fighting your battle. Now we know you are in a better place. We will continue to pray for uncle Hien and your three sons Daniel, Derek, and Ethan. We miss you dearly.
