Terrence Michael Reilly

Terrence M. Reilly (Terry) is survived by Best Friend and loving Wife of over 41 years, three Daughters: Trina Reilly Danshin, Denise Reilly Burch, Erin Reilly Soto and eight beautiful Grandchildren.

Born by the ocean in Southern California, the sea was never far from Terrence Michael Reilly’s heart. A lover of nature and wildlife, a poet and writer, an avid reader and lifelong learner. Terry always had a unique story or piece of history to add to any conversation. Terry was a kind son, loyal and devoted husband, and loving father and grandfather. He was a hard working, family man, that enjoyed spending time with loved ones exploring the great outdoors, especially by the ocean, lake, or river. He could always be counted on to find something unique while tide pooling or fishing. A humble man, dedicated to supporting those around him throughout his long tenure in the trucking industry, he had an old school work ethic seen few and far between today. His strong belief in faith and presence, spirituality and compassion was easily shared. Terry will probably be most remembered for always having the right words on paper. He expressed himself best when sending cards and letters to family and friends, his poetic way with words certainly made each feel loved and special. Terry’s words of wisdom, patriotism, sense of humor, faith, and love of the vast deep blue sea were shared with everyone he met and will be greatly missed.
