Teresa Cortez

Teresa Marie Cortez was born on February 3, 1957 in Los Angeles, California. She was 64 years old when she passed on December 29, 2021. She has joined her parents Dorothy & Rudy Perez Sr. and her two siblings Cecelia & Rudy Jr. in heaven and is survived by her other siblings Diane, Richard, Annette, and Gina. Her memory also lives through her husband Robert Cortez Sr. and her children Robert Jr, Yvonne, Raymond Sr. And Desiree. Her loving grandchildren Sabrina, Brianna, Andrea, Cecelia, Sierra, Raymond Jr., Frank Jr., Isaac Jr., Isabelle, Richard, Adrian, Amaya, Anysia, Jacob, Xavier, and Gabriel. Also by her loving great grandchildren Maliyah, Audriella, Ariza, Alaia, Helena, & Josiah. She is also loved by her son in laws Frank Sr. & Isaac Sr. & her daughter in laws Katie & Rosie. Teresa was known for always having her pretty makeup on with her lashes and beautiful nails always done. She made sure her hair was styled with her bangs done. She always wore her nice blouses with her Levi jeans and her nice clean white shoes. She enjoyed being a paparazzi consultant and going shopping. She loved taking rides with her loving husband Robert in their 51’ Chevy to her husband's Spirit car club events & car shows, she enjoyed the lowrider lifestyle. She truly loved her holidays and to decorate their home where we were all blessed to grow up and actually outgrow their home as our families grew and make beautiful memories. She enjoyed sitting outside on her front porch with her husband. She had a love/hate relationship with her dog, Gizmo. We will always remember her for keeping all her grandchildren and great grandchildren in line to not take anything to eat or drink in her living room and we will miss it. She always made sure to keep her husband Robert in line all the time. Teresa cared for and loved us all very much she will be dearly missed. We love you and are eternally grateful that we were blessed to have Teresa as a daughter, wife, sister, mother, nana, great-nana & friend.
