Steve was born July 21st, 1947 in Omaha, NE to Harry and Lucille (Hausman) Wyman. He graduated from Technical High School in 1965. He enlisted in the military right out of high school, proudly serviced 12 years in the Air force including two tours during the Vietnam War. On June 25th, 1994 he married Debra Rowland in Phoenix. Steve was employed as a property management supervisor for many years and was in high demand in his region. He enjoyed working and only retired a few years prior to his passing. He was an avid collector, fisherman, political advocate, bowler, and a member of the American Legion. When he wasn't in the bedroom chasing his wife Debi, he spent most of his weekends tinkering around the house. He also enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Steve is survived by his beautiful wife Debi, their four amazing children, Danny (Wanda), Donny (Emily), Kristal, and Dawn (Gilbert); eighteen grandchildren, one great grandchildren; as well as five brothers and four sisters whom he loved very dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Lucille, his sister JoAnne and son DJ.
A celebration of life viewing will be held from 5-8 pm, Thursday, May 16 at the Chapel of the Chimes, 7924 N 59th Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301. Military Ceremony will follow on Friday, May 17th at National Memorial Cemetery, 23029 N Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix at 9 am.
