Sarah Maxine Houser

77, Peoria Arizona, went to be with the Lord on November 25, 2015 at Hospice of Arizona. Her final days were spent surrounded by her family and friends. Sarah was born in Akron, Ohio, the daughter of Thornton and Maxine (Burdette) Cooke. When Sarah was young, she moved with her family to Goodyear, Arizona. Sarah and her husband Jack raised their family in Avondale Arizona and Sarah spent her last year as a resident of Casa Del Rio, where she was able to meet new people that were an inspiration to her and where she could be an inspiration to others.

Sarah is survived by her 3 children, Timothy Thornton Houser, Jackie Jean (Richard) Lukezic and Gregory Glenn Houser, and her 4 grandchildren, whom she adored, Nichol Marie Houser, Erika Jean Lukezic, Christopher Allen Lukezic and Gregory Logan Houser.

Sarah’s Celebration of Life will be Wednesday December 2, 2015 @ 10:00 am,

at First Southern Baptist Church, 1001 N. Central Ave, Avondale, AZ.

In lieu of flowers Sarah request that you send memorial contributions to the Cancer Society, or Hospice of Arizona.
