Sara Ethel Seligman

2, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was 76 years

young. Sara was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 27th

1937. She moved to Phoenix in 1989. Sara was preceded in

death by her parents Geneveive and Albert Pollack, mother in-

law Margo Seligman, Father in-law Gunther Seligman, Sister in-

law Michele Singer and brother in-law Donald Singer. She is

survived by her devoted husband of 56 years, Les Seligman and

her 3 children, Larry Seligman of Chandler, Debbie (Mike) Major

of Glendale, Arizona and Marti (Matt) Jones of Phoenix, Arizona.

Five Grandchiliren; Robert Seligman, Bradley Jones, Jessica,

Rebecca and Alexander Major, Also three Step Grandchildren,

David Major, Autumn Robles, of Phoenix and Megan Major of Des

Moines, Iowa. Less and Sara were High School Sweethearts.

They married on December 21st 1958. Sara worked as a

bookkeeper and also a caregiver. She was fond of travel Cruises

and casinos. She loved to play cards weekly with her friends, as

well as having dinner once a week with her friends. In lieu of

flowers, donations are accepted in Sara's name to American

Diabetes Assoc., National Kidney Foundation, American Lung

Assoc. and Hospice of the Valley. A Celebration of Life will be

held on November 16th at 10A.M. at West Resthaven Funeral

Home, 6450 W. Northern Ave., Glendale, AZ 85301.
