Rose Tellez Noriega

Rose Tellez Noriega, 86 of Scottsdale passed away surrounded by her family on April 12, 2016. She was born in Tucson, AZ on January 22, 1930. Rose was married for 52 years to the late Norbert B. Noriega. She raised a family in Glendale, and she was a seamstress at Gruber’s Sewing Factory for 15 years.

Rose is survived by 3 children; Yolanda T. Noriega, Olga N. Sikes and Norbert T. Noriega, Jr, sister Linda Valdez, granddaughter Nicole Rose Noriega and great granddaughter Ondria Lynn Noriega. Rose loved her family and adored her granddaughters. She enjoyed days caring for her dogs; Martini and Cashmere, growing her plants and being in the kitchen. Rose loved preparing all of her traditional Mexican dishes and salsa.

A visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, April 19 from 10am-11am with service starting at 11am at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Ave. Glendale. Interment will follow at Resthaven Park Cemetery. Flowers are welcome.
