Roger L. Johnston

He was born on November 16, 1949 in Marinette, Wisconsin to the late George and Grace Johnston.

Roger was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam Conflict.

He worked in the US and Europe for the US government in the Department of Defense, Army Corp of Engineers, and General Services Administration (GSA) for a total of 30 years.

Roger is survived by his wife Afton, two sons Kris (Cassie) & Ken (Codi), two stepchildren Kenneth & Kimberly Shreeve, six siblings George (Judi), Elaine (Jim) Kennebec, Cindi (Patrick) Nalan, Pete (Katherine), Susan (Greg) Peprich and Jeff (Darci) and seven grandchildren Corey, Braden, Kyle, Nathan, Ashley, Tanner and Ali.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Friday, May 4, 2018 from 1-2PM with a funeral service beginning at 2PM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale. Burial with military honors will be on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 12noon at Show Low Cemetery, 240 E. Adams, Show Low.
