Robert E. Moore III

Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Robert (Bob) Emmett Moore III, age 72, passed away peacefully at the VA Hospital on Saturday, June 23, 2012. Bob was born on March 18, 1940, in Jerome, AZ. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nora Moore and father, Robert (Bud) Moore Jr. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Joan, daughter, Nora Ellen Moore, son, Robert (Bobby) Emmett Moore IV (Nicole), grandchildren, Robert (Bo) Emmett Moore V, Shyloh and Brody, sister, Barbara Pedersen of San Diego, Patricia McHenry of Tucson and many nieces and nephews. Bob served in the US Air Force from 1957 – 1961. He spent part of his service in Europe and the Congo. He has been in the Bar and Restaurant business for the last 36 years, owning and operating The Branded and The Maverick. For the last four years, the Moore family, Bob, Joan, Bobby and Nora have owned and operated Robert Emmet’s Lounge on 59th Avenue in Glendale. A special thanks to the doctors, nurses and the staff at the VA Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion during Bob’s illness. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. with Rosary at 11:00 A.M. and Funeral Services at 12:00 P.M. at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W.
