Today it's been 3 years that I have been without you.  I know that I'm only here because of the grace and love of our Lord Jesus Christ.  I miss you every day.  The hole in my heart and life  is now filled with the love of Jesus because I could never exist without you, without Him.  Thank you Mama for giving me the answer to this life; JESUS.  
No words  can describe how much I love and adore you.  You were my best friend.  I miss your laugh and your hugs and a kiss on my cheek...what I wouldn't give...You were an amazing Mama...unforgettable that's' what you are...

Just look at your beautiful granddaughters, & one more on its way.  Stephanie is such a wonderful Mom & cares for her family in such a loving & caring way. You would be so proud to see her with her children. I know you were so happy to be with her & Millie & Tyson.  ❤️😍😘

Our Brother Paul has gone on to be in Paradise with Jesus & you & all our loved ones. He probably said to you, “Hello, Darlin” .  😆❤️

Hanna’s Birthday. We celebrated her special day at Sarah’s home. Johanna goes almost every weekend to care for our Sister Sarah . You would be so proud of Hanna. Showing all her love to family.  She gave her heart to Jesus & was baptized in Jesus name by Pastor Allen.  ❤️

Our Brother, Gilberto, has joined you in Paradise.  We miss him but we know he is rejoicing & living with Jesus & all our loved ones. ❤️

Beyond the Sunset, in Paradise, Jesús is gathering all His children home, where we belong.  Miss you, Becca, but you are “Home” with all our loved ones!  Until we meet again, I will reminisce all the years packed with family times, vacations together, fun & laughter.  ❤️😍

I miss you, Mama. I miss our adventures, our talks, your prayers, your laughter—I miss all of you. Every moment I miss you and your absence is still powerfully painful. In the pain though, I know I am blessed. I am so blessed that God gave me you as my mother. You taught me so much and you took care of me till the end. I want to say more, but it hurts too much. Please eat some cake and ice cream for me and dance with Jesus. Happy birthday, Mommy. Thank You, God for my mother.

I miss you, Mom. Not a moment goes by that I don’t think of you. A part of me feels so lost without you. Sometimes I don’t know how you put up with me. You did though and you were always patient and loving. You were the one I could run to when I was hurting. You’d always remind me to trust  in God and you always comforted me and listened. You seemed to only remember the good in me even though we both know that often I am a pain in the butt. You spent my childhood pushing me out of my comfort zone so I wouldn’t be afraid of the world. You wanted us to be independent and strong because you never know what can happen. You wanted us to be able to make it on our own. I don’t think I’d be able to do any of the good things I do if you hadn’t taught me to push myself. I’m still the little girl afraid of the world, but because of you I can push through and because of the love of God, I can make it. I try to remember your reminders when I’m hurting and feel like it’s too much and I push on and I do the best I can and I give it to God as much as I can and I do it again and again. If you hadn’t taught me the power of prayer, I can confidently say that I would not be here. I’m forever thankful for your prayers, your love, and the blessings you bestowed by teaching me God’s word and encouraging me. Because of you I try not to beat myself up too much and take it one day at a time. I wish I could hear your voice reminding me. It’s so much harder to do alone. I miss you, Mom. Thank you. And thank God for you.

I Surely will miss Rebecca's Bible Verses that were posted daily. Such a good thing to do. We go back to 1990 when I met her at her mom's house on Ajo Road. She recently told me a touching story about her brother Joseph Ferriera that was straight from the Lord. May she RIP.

Every day without you is a little bit harder. I can’t tell you a funny story and hear you laugh, or update you on loved ones, or ask you for advice, or even vent. I can’t hear you put me in my place, or share a corny joke, or hear about your love for youtube and your ‘armchair’ travels. Throughout the day I think of you and my instinct to come to you is still there, but you are not. I am proud of you, Mom, and blessed immensely by your legacy. Your prayers still encamp me with the angels. You were taken too quickly, but the way God used you is everlasting. You left an imprint you will never realize. I am so thankful God made me yours and thankful for the years I have had you as my mother. I’m more thankful that you are in the arms of our Savior. I won’t pretend to understand all the intricacies of heaven or all it’s mysteries and blessings, but I do know you’re in good company. I find peace knowing you are at peace. You used to talk me down when I was overwhelmed and remind me to take it one day at a time. When you were sick and I would call, I’d tell you please “take it one breath at a time, Mama. Don’t be scared or lonely, you’re never alone. Jesus is there with you.” Now I need to take your advice and my own and I will try not to be scared or lonely without you. I take it one breath at a time and I remember Jesus is with me. I will do my best each day and I will do my best to try and leave a legacy that you’d be proud of, just like I am proud of and thankful for yours. I love you, Mom. I’ll see ya when I see ya. 💛 

My fondest memories of my Tia are when I would go see her in San Diego and when I spent the Summer there with her. She would always sit and talk with me and go out of her way to make me feel comfortable, no matter how tired she was. She was like my second Mother. Always making sure I stayed healthy and in a very caring way scolded me when I wasn’t taking care of myself. My favorite thing about my Tia is her laugh ,that just saturated the whole room , and her adventurous spirit. She always made our adventurous trips fun and joyful. She was a great Tia and I’m going to miss her so very much!

Tia, I'm just going to write to you. I've been wanting to write, but words are so hard to come up with to fully express how I feel.  First, I'm honored to be your "look alike".  That's always been a special thing to hear people say, "oh, you look so much like Becca".  I can hear you laughing now and smiling about that, and saying yes, you and I look like Nana..  You, have the biggest laugh, and smile, the twinkle in your eyes.  You, a godly but down to earth woman..just real, you know. I laugh thinking about some of the advice you gave me, you just kept things real. You were a huge support to me, always listening... I remember calling just to talk to you, asked if you were busy and you said you were working on your puzzle but you always always made time for me. I shared hardships with you, testimonies, spiritual dreams and you always listened and thanked me for sharing. You comforted me in so many ways. You knew what was up. Knew how it was to grind as a single working mom..knew the true sacrifices that not only a working mom makes but a single mother working. The load is heavy and almost unbearable sometimes and you knew Tia. Out of your hard earned income, you would send me money with simply the words, "I know how it is".  You were the one that remembered my surgery and sent me money to help when I was off work. You had the same type of surgery for same type of female problems and again, you comforted me and encouraged me that everything would be okay.  Tia, you shared practical wisdom about parenting, about keeping a clean house, and more with me and told me, I'm sharing this with you because your mom can't anymore. You were so wise, loving, genuine.  You were on fire for God.  I know we would love to talk about God and  you faithfully sent out scriptures and encouragement. You used to tell me, I would have loved to get these when I was a younger busy working  mom, and so you did it for your family and more. Now, your in paradise & I pray I'll make it to see you.

To my cousin's family: Heber, Johanna and Stephanie.  You could not have chosen a better biblical passage or picture to commemorate your wife, mother and grandmother.  When I first saw the picture it made me smile.  So genuine, so free, so full of eternal expectation.  Well cousin, as the song goes: "It's over now. Its over I'm going home.  It's over now it won't be long. The prisons of my past, couldn't hold me I'm free at last.  My Father I see Him waiting for me,  it's all over now".   As we read in the book of  Romans, "the
sufferings of this world are not worthy to be compared to the glory that will be revealed in us".  You have fought the good fight and without a doubt you are enjoying the fruits of your labor.   Confident  in the words of the Apostle Paul,  “Who will separate us from the love of Christ? For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things to come, nor powers, nor  height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus, our Lord.”  Love you and see you on the other side.




I remember Becky with her bright smiles and loving laughter.  Her kindness was from God. I knew she was a God loving person. It would shine from her eyes. When we grew up we were all busy with life. I am Thankful that you went to my house and was praying for my mom towards her last days. Sorry you didn’t make to my moms funeral because you got sick with the flu. I will always remember you and I will miss the daily devotionals you would send to my phone. Love ❤️ your cousin Irene 

God I don’t even know where to begin. Since your passing I’ve thought about you and the memories you have left me with. First I wanna say the Lord truly blessed me with beautiful loving Aunt. There are so many memories I have from the time I would spend the night with Hannah and you would make sure we had fun. Taking us to Mt Lemon. Taking us to California and going up the horrible road up the mountain and down the mountain and Hannah and I getting sick on the side of the road. Teaching me how to make Green corn tamales which I will never be able to make again. Inviting my family for dinner and making enchiladas.  The one memory I have that describes what a loving person you were is driving around Christmas Eve to give your great nephews and nieces gifts because you wanted to give all the little ones gifts. You were the most loving caring person. That contagious laugh and big smile. Your big warm hugs. You will be missed but never forgotten. Thank you Tia for always loving me and being a role model.

Tia Becca was a role model to me for as long as I can remember. A fun, clever, confident, brave, generous, and loving woman. I always knew she loved Jesus and Country music. The Bible was her main source of inspiration, so she felt passionate to share with those connected to her. I was grateful for her frequent texting because it showed how much she cared. Despite her struggles, she was always reaching out to uplift and assist others. Her impact on my 35 years of life was so great. I cannot express with mere words how deeply she touched my soul. Tears fall freely as I think of how much her laughter, smile, big hugs, and kisses on the cheek will be missed. I am thankful for our heartfelt conversations, & her encouraging words that helped me numerous times. The love and prayers that overflowed from her heart to ours are infinite, and will never be forgotten. There are many memorable moments to recall of how she brought joy to our hearts… one of them is when I received my very first “snail mail” package, it was from my Tia Becca & Stephie! A birthday dress-up kit with a pretend crown, jewelry, plastic high heels & sunglasses. I felt like I was in “Princess & the Pop-star” Heaven! Many of my best summer memories as a kid were made in California at Tia’s home. I would always count down the days to our visits. Holidays and birthdays were extra special when she was present because of her fun and festive spirit. I will forever remember her urging us to say “Queso!” for every photo, and laughing at her playful character. My 90’s Childhood wouldn’t have been as great if she hadn’t become an AVON representative for a side hustle, but then allowed Stephie & me to play with all her Beauty samples. She sure spoiled us with bubble baths, chapsticks & lotions galore! Thank you, Tia Becca, for the laughs, advice, prayers, virtuous example, noble character, and constant love that followed me all this way. You will forever be cherished, highly honored, and greatly loved in our hearts!

Tia Becca, thank you for loving and including me as your own. I treasured the Sundays where I would see you worshipping and get the biggest, tightest, warmest hug from you. What is it with the Ferreira children and their hugs, my goodness, there's nothing like them! I wish you knew how many times Eli talked about you in our home, and the tales of his love and memories for you always ended with an "I really need to go see her and just hang out". 

I will miss seeing the grace and ferocious determination in how you lived your life. Your steadfast and unashamed love of God and His word, and how you carried on the legacy of a praying Mama. There is no one quite like you, but your unique smile and sparkly eyes continue to live on in your siblings, and we will cherish the times together even more now.  

I know you must be quite happy that you timed your Heavenly greeting with Thanksgiving, the 1 in a 365 chance where it's guaranteed everyone will always be gathered around the table with laughter, love and lots of food. It's exactly what you would have wanted, and every Thanksgiving I'll make sure to spend some extra time reading the Bible, simply with you in mind and to honor the life you lived, and lived so well.

I would like to submit a memory on behalf of my mom, Olivia Ferreira... my dad often tells me that aunt Becca would stop by my mom's house every school day and they would walk to Jr. High every day. She was a dear friend to my mom since childhood and for that I am very grateful. Aunt Becca was one of the most kind, generous, fun-loving people I have been graced to call my aunt. She has always been considerate of all of us, giving us Christmas money and gifts even when it must have been a financial hardship. She had a smile and laugh that just drew everyone to her. She was a giant personality. Her daily encouragement through scriptures, little stories by text message were a daily comfort and even my daughter, Destiny loved receiving those texts from aunt Becca. I so enjoyed her visits with our family. The middle room will be forever memorialized in my mind as "Aunt Becca's room." I miss you so much. It's been 24 days since I have seen you.  What I wouldn't give to go back to that day.  I am so lost without you.  You are my best friend.  I have so many good memories because that's what you were about- making good memories.  One of my earliest memories of us is when we were living in San Jose and I must have been around 3 years old- you bought me a bag of real ladybugs and I was more than thrilled.  You made everything so special -every holiday&I mean all of them lol  my birthday was my own personal holiday because you made it that way.  You surprised me and flew from SD for my  Army bootcamp graduation.  You sent me a real Christmas tree when I was in Korea because I wasn't able to come home.  
You worked three jobs and still made time for my sister and I to have fun adventures. ThankYou for teaching us about God's love and making sure that we knew him.  You constantly reminded me that I was not alone in this life that our Father was always looking after us just like the little sparrow. Oh I love you Momma so much..I would give anything to laugh with you.  Thank you for always having my back. Thank you for being the woman who stands up for what she believes in- your actions spoke louder than your words' 100%genuine.

Becca, you took a part of my heart when the Lord called you home. You were like a second mom to us as you would sacrifice your earnings to buy the younger ones of the bunch clothes, winter coats, food, toys and just blessed us with your love. Always there for everyone and not just your siblings. Love and kindness and long suffering was just some of the qualities you had. A heart just like mom. You will live in my heart forever and I will try to follow the legacy you left us.

Rebecca, named after our Mom.  This is from her two sisters, Sarah & Mary. We loved our sister with all our hearts. We shared the same beautiful memories of our loving home in Tucson, Az.  We had warm ,  loving  parents, Joe & Rebecca Ferreira. They raised us knowing about the Bible & JesusChrist, our loving Father.  They taught us the truth, the Word of God & Jesus as our personal Savior. Rebecca learned the Truth, the Word of God, & stood firm & lived as Jesus taught us to serve with loving care & to share the good news of God’s love.  “..from a child you  have  known the scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. “ II Timothy 3:15   “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. “ II Timothy4:7 Becca we are so proud of you that you fought till the end, the good fight! We love you for your example of faithfulness to the Lord!  We also press on forward to fight the good fight to finish our course in Jesus. We shall see you in Paradise when our Lord takes us home. ❤️😍😘

The first memory if my Sister Rebecca was when I was 5 yrs.  She borrowed my brother Joe’s bike & told me to hop on the back , she started pedaling & the bike wouldn’t budge. Every time she tried pushing on the pedal, I would just groan, ahh, she finally looked back & my foot was stuck in the spokes of tire.  She tried pulling my foot out but to no avail. This man was walking down the street & he stopped to help. He had to take the tire off to get my foot out. We never tried that again.  Lol 😆   So many fun & exciting memories but I will share one that is so important & special to me was when I was 15 yrs.  She took me in her blue Volkswagen bug to a Revival at a church on Delmas Rd. In San José, Ca.  The main speaker was Joseph Gutiérrez, he spoke of the Love Story, which he entitled “The lonely Bachelor”. As he was telling the story & how he loved this beautiful redhead lady (symbolizing the Jews) she rejected Him & he was heartbroken!  Thru his journey he came to love another beautiful dark haired lady (symbolizing the Gentiles) he loved her so much that he ended dying on a Cross for her. She continued to love him. The love of my Savior, I understood the real love of God & I gave my heart, mind & soul to Jesus. I obeyed the most important step in my relationship with Jesus & got baptized in His name. Acts 2:38  I also desired to be filled with the gift of the Holy Spirit & Rebecca was the one praying with me! I will eternally be grateful to my sister who always looked out for my eternal salvation.  ❤️😍😘

My dear Cousin Becca. I thank God for you and all the time we spent together. When you and Steffie first moved from San Diego and lived with Sarita, Monique and I, those were some of our happiest months at Foothill. Your walk encouraged me to get closer to God and I'll always remember how the Lord led us to Valley West Mall one day and He gave you the desire of your  heart, a new house. You made that house a home and we always felt welcomed. You never tired of reaching out to others in need,  whether it was family or a complete stranger. You were "Real". You refused to be intimidated when it came to defending someone's character and above all the Word of God. We didn't always agree in everything and sometimes you'd call me "Pancho" or "Bones" and I would call you "Chemaly." We could see alot of our fathers in us and it was quite comical. 😆! No matter how heated the discussion got, we always ended up laughing hysterically and never said goodbye without giving each other a big hug and kiss. I'll always cherish our last hug and kiss when you and Heber brought me a potted tree, just before you got sick.You simply said, "You need a tree" and I thanked you and told you, "I'm naming it Becca." You laughed out loud, shook your head and said something like, "you would."  I miss you and know in my heart we will meet again. Love you very much.
