The Family moved to Phoenix in 1959 and shortly thereafter started Merchant Janitorial and later Apollo Communications in Glendale. Randy grew up working, managing and owning the family businesses. He played football at Apollo High School and graduated in 1975. Randy married Tammy Osborne in 1996.
Randy played guitar and liked Rock Music, went camping and fishing occasionally, enjoyed riding his ATV/3 Wheeler's. He loved sports, the Suns and also his season tickets to Cardinals & Diamond Backs.
Randy is survived by Wife Tammy, Daughter Mariah and Sister Rebecca all of Phoenix.
Preceding him in death was his Father: William J Merchant in 1990, Mother: Mary A. Merchant in 2008 and Sister: Robin in 2004.
Grave side services will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 9:00 AM at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6290 West Northern, in Glendale, Arizona.
