Ralph D. Eckert Sr.

He was born on August 29, 1935 in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Walter and Elsie Eckert.

Ralph met Donna Doran in 1954 while in high school; they were married on May 27, 1955, and had three children: Denise, Ralph Jr, and Russell.

In 1966, the family moved to Phoenix, Arizona. Ralph served with the Phoenix Police Department for over 23 years. In 1994, Ralph and Donna relocated to Lake Oswego, Oregon. Two years later, they moved to Vancouver, Washington where they remained until Donna passed away on March 20, 2018.

He is survived by his daughter Denise Eckert and her husband David Fisher, five grandchildren Jordan, Kristen, Erik, Lauren & Jason, 13 great grandchildren and daughter-in-law Becky Eckert.

In addition to his parents and wife Ralph was preceded in death by two sons Russell & Ralph “Don” and two sisters Marian Roethe & Jane Dowling.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30PM, on Monday, October 11, 2021 at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale.
