Patricia ‘Pat’ Norby, 86, passed away on April 12, 2019, in the care of Hospice of the Valley in Phoenix, AZ surrounded by her family. Pat was born on March 28, 1933 in Chicago, IL to Kenneth W. and Agnes T. Myers (nee Dunham). Pat married Donald R. Norby in 1953 and was with him until his death in 1991. She was the mother of 4 children, Mary Clair Siqueiros (Deceased), Donna Ann Pavlovsky, Charles R.T. ‘Chuck’ Norby , Carol Lyn Grace and was a surrogate mother to Paula Clair Kelso. Pat moved with her family to Phoenix in 1964 and was a longtime employee of Walgreens for over 35 years. Pat had a way of drawing people to her with her laughter and smiles. She loved and embraced everyone who came into her life and they were always counted as family. She would always tell folks that she was never lucky but rather was she “blessed” by God for all the good things she was given.

Your laughter was so boisterous.
We could hear it loud and clear
Your smiles were infectious
Your warmth radiated such cheer
We were all left wishing
That you did not have to go
We tried to keep you here with us
Oh, how we’ll miss you so!
God had always blessed your life
With nothing but the best
But now he whispered to you
My Angel, it’s time to rest
With a smile upon your face
You saw a hummingbird flutter by
At that moment, you took God’s hand
Then quietly said, “Good-bye”
