May 16, 1940 - March 20, 2013. Always looking for the next adventure.....loving life with her beloved Ken...delighting in the newness of Spring--that's our Annie who passed away suddenly and unexpectedly into the arms of her Lord, March 20, 2013. Through her 17-year battle with breast cancer, she was a compassionate and fierce advocate for others with the disease. Her joy centered around her family and friends, leaving hearts that are broken with her passing--her loving husband, Ken; daughters, Elizabeth (Stuart) Calvelage and Elaine (John) Kohl; grandchildren, Stephanie, Nicole, Zachary, Katelynn, Byron, Josh, Jonathan and Andrew; and great grandchildren Preston, Brooke, Kole and Luke; her sisters, Barbara and Virginia; step-children Brad, Bart, and Jennifer and families; nieces Theresa and Kris, and nephew John, along with her many wonderful friends. The flower seeds she planted on the eve of Spring will become a sweet memorial to our dear Annie. A celebration of Annie's life will be held at 11am, Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, 7924 N. 59th Ave., Glendale.
