Matthew Lawrence Johnson, beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on August 6, 2024, at the age of 46 due to heart failure. He was born on July 13, 1978, in Phoenix, Arizona, to Melvin Lawrence Johnson and Betty Jo Johnson.
Matthew was known for his infectious smile and a heart of gold. He found joy in being of service to others and lived a life of kindness and generosity. As an Eagle Scout, Matthew embodied the values of leadership and community service from a young age. He also had a deep love for Disneyland, a place where he created many cherished memories.
Matthew is survived by his loving mother, Betty Jo Johnson, and his two devoted sisters, Johna Johnson and Jency Rogers Johnson. He was taken from us too soon, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved him.
