Mary Lou married Ronald Gene Hicks in February 1950. They shared 37 years of marriage prior to his passing in June 1987.
Mary Lou enjoyed traveling, dancing, reading, keeping up with world events, her church and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by two grandchildren Wes Hicks & Misty Valdez, three great grandchildren Emma Hicks, Jayven Valdez & Kaden Valdez, sister Edith Henneberg, daughter-in-law Tami Beyette, sister-in-law Virginia Ford and several nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband Gene, Mary Lou was preceded in death by her son Larry Gene Hicks, daughter Crystal Lynn Hicks, brother Wayne Ford & brother-in-law Robert Henneberg.
Family and friends are invited to a graveside service on Monday, October 28, 2024 at 1PM at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale, AZ 85301
