Mario P. Rueda

He was born in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico on January 5, 1955 to the late Pantaleon and Maria Perales Rueda.

Mario was a master furniture upholsterer for many years which led him to open up his own company, Imperial Custom Upholstery. He took pride and joy in his work and shared that passion with his employees and customers.

He married Irene Rios on March 15, 1975; they shared 44 years of marriage.

Mario is survived by his loving wife Irene, four children Mario (Rebecca) Rueda, Jr., Irene (Raymond Carreon) Rueda, Julian (Melissa) Rueda & Dulce (Erik) Garcia, five siblings Gerardo (Lydia) Rueda, Margarita (Julian) Ochoa, Ricardo (Angelica) Rueda, Rosy (Robert) Madrid & Jose Luis (Lorena) Rueda, 14 grandchildren and one great grandson with another one due any day now.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters Sara & Isa.

He loved music, traveling, dancing, and get togethers at his home. He was full of joy, full of life, and had great zest for life and his love for those he cared about always came through.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Thursday, June 6, 2019 from 10-11AM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale. Funeral services will being at 11AM; burial will follow at Resthaven Park Cemetery.
