Marie Annette Brinkmann

90, of Phoenix, AZ passed away on July 4, 2011. Marie was born in St. Louis, MO. on May 7, 1921. She was one of eleven children born to Frank and Rose Charleville and resided in AZ for the past 30 years. A loving mother of four and committed wife to Charles (deceased). Marie was an extraordinary woman with an extremely positive attitude, whose life was firmly guided by the Catholic faith. She enjoyed sewing, arts & crafts, playing bingo, cards with friends, casino trips, listening to music, watching her Diamondbacks and Cardinals play baseball and above all being surrounded by her family. She is remembered by her sister Mary Lou Kieffer of CA, two daughters Charlene Evjen and Jean Boyd, her two sons Dennis Brinkmann and Scott Brinkmann along with 8 grandchildren (Chris, Jason, Laurie, Charles IV, Shelly, David, Jessica and Kristen) and 24 great grandchildren. A Mass will be held in Marie's honor on Friday, July 15, 2011 at 10am, at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 10815 North 35th Ave, Phoenix. Following the service, all are welcome to celebrate Marie's life in the church community hall. Arrangements were made by Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations to the American Cancer Society are made in Marie's honor. Marie will truly be missed by the many people whose lives she touched.
