Linda Willetts

Linda Carol Willetts of Peoria, Arizona, passed away on December 30, 2022, at the age of 73. Linda's caring, selfless spirit will forever be missed by and live on through the hearts of the wide-ranging family and close friends to whom she devoted her life.

Linda was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 28, 1949, the daughter of John and Alice Wilson and beloved sister to Pam and Shirley. Linda married Roger Ellerholz in 1966 and raised a family with him until his passing in 1977. She then rekindled a friendship and fell in love with Glen Willetts, marrying in 1979. They moved the family to Arizona in 1981, where she worked as a dietician and cook at the Life Care Center of North Glendale for over 25 years. In 2013, she retired to devote her life as a proud mother and “Gramma." Her final years were spent living at the Casa Del Sol Community, where she made many wonderful friends and was well-known in the community for her kindness and free spirit. Many will also forever remember her love of reading, playing cards, winning at bingo or Yahtzee, and watching Nascar.

As the matriarch to her vast, beautiful family, Linda is survived by: her three children, Sheila (Jose) Toro, Tammy Ellerholz, and Brian Ellerholz, as well as her grandchildren: Talina, Heather (Nick), Brittany, Derek, Brendan, Zachary, and Emily, along with her great-grandchildren: Abree, Tason, Jaxson, Brinlee, and Bennett, and many adoring nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Alice, her husbands, Glen Richard Willetts and Roger Lee Ellerholz, and her daughter, Dawn Rinnay Ellerholz.

A visitation for Linda will be held Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at 12:00 PM at West Resthaven Funeral Home (6450 W. Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301), followed by a funeral service with interment at 1:00 PM.
