Linda Mae Hinkley

Linda Mae Hinkley was born on November 26, 1949 in Windsor, Canada and passed away on May 1, 2021 at her home in Phoenix, AZ after a battle recovering from a surgery related to cancer. Linda retired from the Phoenix Police Department. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and spent many hours in her sewing and craft room creating fantastic projects.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert & Laura Hunt of Canada.

Linda is survived by her husband Larry Hinkley, her daughter Lisa (Tim Grimes) and her son Lonnie (Melissa McCrary). She is also survived by her grandchildren: Dalis Elise, Ashlyn Hinkley, Mackenzie Hinkley, Nathan Basham, Morgan Schoon, Marcus Grimes, and Nathaniel Grimes, along with her siblings of Larry Hunt and his wife Anita: Kenny Hunt (Wanda), Kathy Davis, Evelyn Ortega (Julian) and Leslie Hunt.

The Hinkley family would like to invite you to celebrate Linda's life in the way she would have chosen herself- with a big ole’ BBQ. Please join us on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 1:00PM at the home of Lonnie, her son. The address is 4135 West San Miguel Avenue, Phoenix.

Please bring your photos, memories, stories and a dish to share. Linda loved a good potluck! All meat, condiments and paper products will be provided.
