Linda Gelene Casey passed away unexpectedly on December 14, 2022. A native Phoenician, she was born on October 30, 1964 to the late James and Miriam Casey.
While Linda never married, she did have a longtime companion Danny Woods. He passed exactly three years to the day prior to Linda, December 14, 2019.
She graduated from U of A with a Master’s Degree. Linda worked for Motorola for many years as a hazardous waste expert.
She is survived by nephew Michael (Edie) Michelena & niece Gelene Michelena, two great nephews Domenic & Ethan & former brother-in-law Louis Michelena.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brother Jerry Casey & her sister Peggy Michelena.
There will be a celebration of Linda’s life on October 21, 2023 at 4pm at Gelene's home, 3045 S. Kenneth Place, Tempe.
She will be laid to rest in a private service with her parents and siblings in Resthaven Park Cemetery.
