Jose Michael Hernandez

Jose Michael Hernandez (70), “Joe” passed away on Monday night, August 29 th surrounded by friends and family who came to party with him one last time. He is survived by four daughters; Georgette, Christina, Danielle, Roseanne and two sons; Joe (almost Jr.), and Adrian. He has gone on to join his son, Michael (Adrian’s twin and the reason for his middle name), in eternity. Joe is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He loved football, classic cars, and his wolf-hybrid dogs were his pride and joy. He was not an overly emotional or “mushy” kind of person, but he SHOWED unconditional love to all his family and friends. He was a very selfless person, quick to lend a hand and help people even when doing so took him away from things he had to get done for himself. He was the most fearless and brave person you could ever meet. He taught his children to always stand up and face adversity head on without worry or doubt. A man of few words but of swift unfaltering action he was always demonstrating what he valued and what he was about. He had the utmost love and concern for his friends and family, and he will be greatly missed.

A visitation for Jose will be held Friday, September 23, 2022 at 9:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission, 6807 W Lower Buckeye Road, Phoenix, AZ 85043, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
