John Henry Ruffin, 63, passed away on April 11, 2017. He was born in Walters, VA on February 22, 1954 to the late Henry Lee & Queen Ester (Ashburn) Ruffin. John served in the U.S. Air Force for 23 years, retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant. John held a master’s degree in human resources, he loved fishing, dancing, watching track and field, and most of all, spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years Kathy Ruffin, five children, Marc Perkins of VA, Jesica Butcher of AZ, Jamie Ruffin of NV, Jackie Ruffin of AZ, and John Ruffin of AZ, and ten grandchildren, Christopher, Nigel, Hayden, Roman, Israel, Marley, Solomon, Andi, and Elijah.
A graveside service will be held in honor of John at 9:30 am on Friday, April 21, 2017 at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 W Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301.
