On Thursday December 7, 2023 John Cherpak, beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, passed at the age of 76. John was born on August 15, 1947 in Phoenix, AZ to John and Alice Cherpak.
John had two daughters, April and Angela and one son, John. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them often while bbqing. His truck driving career and interest in trains lead to a life of travel and his love for aviation allowed him to own and pilot his own airplane. He had a lifelong passion for music. John was known for his kind and compassionate nature along with his wit. He had a love for telling stories and making others laugh with his jokes.
John was preceded in death by his father, John, mother, Alice, sister, Kathleen and his grandson, Nicholas. He leaves behind his eldest sister, Mary, three children, April, Angela and John as well as his four granddaughters, four grandsons, two great granddaughters and six great grandsons.
John is so loved. His smile and ability to find humor in any situation will be greatly missed. We will hold him forever in our hearts.
