She is survived by her 5 children David Rex, Denna Faber, Kathie Burkhalter, Laurie Clark, & Dawn Byrd. She was a loving grandmother of 10, great grandmother of 6, and great great grandmother of 3.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years Raymond Rex.
Janet was born on December 11, 1938 to Thurman and Mary Borders in Decatur, Illinois.
In 1970, she, her husband and children moved to Phoenix Arizona where she has remained.
God looked around his garden and found an empty space. He then looked down upon the Earth and saw your weary face. He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest. God's Garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering, he knew you were in pain, he knew that you would never get well on Earth again. He saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb so he closed your weary eyelids and whispered Peace be Thine. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone for part of us went with you the day God called you home.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Friday, November 9, 2018 from 1-2PM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale. Funeral services will begin at 2PM; burial will follow in Resthaven Park Cemetery.
