He is survived by his son Michael Shane Rohr, and companion Sharon Marable.
Jack was born January 1, 1941 in Waukegan, Illinois. His is predeceased by mother Stefany Rohr, father Frank Rohr, and brother Thomas Rohr.
Jack graduated from Sunnyslope High School in 1959. He then attended Phoenix College for two years where he played football and tennis.
He later earned a degree in Sanitary Engineering. Jack opened his own plumbing company “San Cor Plumbing” which he owned and operated for 49 years.
Jack loved children of all ages. He sponsored several children in public and private schools, three are firefighters, two are police officers, two are bankers, and one is the process of becoming a surgeon. Jack was on the Board of Directors for the Phoenix Boys Club.
Jack was an avid boat racer and loved sports. He and Tony Certvenick owned a semi-pro basketball team made up of men all over the United States. The team played all colleges and Junior colleges, traveling many cities.
Jack will be deeply missed by so many people who cared and loved him. He never met a stranger and people he encountered quickly became friends. He knew so many people here in the valley and always stayed in touch as much as possible.
