Age 80, of Glendale, passed away on November 2, 2012. Irene was born in Los Angeles, CA on May 17, 1932. She was a parishioner of St Jerome Catholic Church for 42 years, and was also involved in the Catholic Ministry. Irene retired from Moon Valley High School Food Services, and was a collector of Elephant Memorabilia. She is survived by her children: Ernestina (Daniel) Cota, Christina (Anthony) Miranda, Ernest B. (Teresa) Montenegro, Cecilia Montenegro, Roberta (Dennis) Davis, Alfred B. Montenegro, and Louisa (Roque O.) Salcido; 21 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, and a brother, Fred J Bravo. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM, on Thursday, November 8 at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Ave., Glendale, with Rosary at 7 PM. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, November 9 at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 10815 N. 35th Ave., Phoenix. Interment will follow at Resthaven Park Cemetery, Glendale.
