Henry Leland Woodward

He was born in Waverly, Missouri to the late John Leland Woodward and Audrey Marie (Ford) Woodward on October 11, 1929.

Henry was a devoted husband and father who had a great love for his wife Vanette and his children, family, friends and pet dogs.

He is survived by his daughter Coralee Wolter and sons Ernest Courson, George Courson, his wife Janet and Monte Woodward and his wife Christina. Henry is also survived by his sister Betty Sue (Woodward) Phillips. Henry and Vanette’s lives were blessed with their wonderful children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

They attended church at Covenant of Grace Christian Fellowship.

Henry was preceded in death by his wife Vanette Woodward, sons James and Paul “Louie” Courson, daughter-in-law Judy Courson, brothers William L. Woodward, Bobby F. Woodward, and Jimmy Dale Woodward.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Thursday, February 9, 2017. A celebration of Henry’s life will be held at 9:30AM, Friday, February 10, 2017 at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale AZ 85301 Burial will follow at Resthaven Park Cemetery.
