Gloria M. Martinez

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, & sister; Gloria M. Martinez passed away on December 22, 2023, peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Phoenix, AZ on January 23, 1947, to the late Frank and Alicia Gradillas.

Gloria married Florence Martinez on February 2, 1965. They had four children together and shared the blessing of 58 years of marriage.

She is survived by her husband Florence Martinez, son Mike (Ali) Martinez, daughter Alicia (Miguel Cervantes) Martinez-Cervantes, son Anthony (Marcey) Martinez, two brothers Gilbert Gradillas & Leonard (Gina) Gradillas, eight grandchildren David (Dainny) Leon, Greg Martinez, Isabel (Nija Wright) Leon-Wright, Tara Martinez, Brandon Martinez, Aaron Martinez, Mia Martinez & Sayla Martinez and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was greeted into Heaven by her parents & son Greg Martinez.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Thursday, January 11, 2024, from 4-8 PM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale with a rosary at 7 PM. An additional viewing will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024, from 9-10 AM followed by a mass of Christian burial at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 5614 W. Orangewood Avenue, Glendale at 11 AM. Burial in Resthaven Park Cemetery will take place after the mass.
