Gerald Edwin Beauchamp II

A Christmas baby, he was born on December 25, 1961 in Long Beach, California to the late Gerald and Ronelda Beauchamp.

He married Melissa Fernandez on April 20, 1986. They celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary earlier this year.

After graduating high school in Pottsboro, TX, Jerry served in the United States Army for a couple of years. He went on to become a notable electrician for 35 years and was a proud member of the IBEW Local #640 for 27 years. He was happy to use his skills to help others and many friends, family, and neighbors can thank him for electrical work he did in their homes.

He loved his family and spending time with his grandkids. His passions included cheering for the Phoenix now Arizona Cardinals, riding his bike, golf, and fantasy football. He loved Mexican food and the hottest salsa he could find.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife Melissa, three children Gerald Beauchamp III, Michelle Fernandez and Rachelle (with her husband Sven André) Svensen, two brothers Darron and Chad (with his wife Jay) and six grandchildren: Jennika, Eli, Gisselle, Gerald IV, Ellinor and Filip.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial service on December 17, 2021 at noon at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale.
